Yes. Membership can be suspended or revoked if a member is found to be in breach of AIIEC’s Code of Ethics.
Yes. Applicants must provide two professional references (name, email, phone) from either an AIIEC member, an admission officer, a school principal, or a reputable service provider. References will be contacted during the evaluation of the application.
No. Only founders from the same organisation can apply. Founders joining together will be offered a discounted price for the second membership. Staff members are not eligible.
Yes. Applicants must provide at least a website or a professional social media page that reflects their counselling practice.
a) Transitioning school counsellors are eligible to apply only after they have concluded their employment with the school and fully established their independent practice.
b) School counsellors who work in a school and also maintain an independent practice are eligible to apply, provided they supply:
- Registered practice name
- Website or social media presence
c) Counsellors who exclusively work in a school setting and do not have a formally established independent practice are ineligible to apply until such a practice is set up.
