As the Founding President of AIIEC (All India Independent Education Consultants), I envisioned an organization that unites India’s leading Independent Education Consultants under one powerful collective a formal voice representing the integrity, intellect & innovation of our profession nationwide.
The role of an IEC has traditionally been a solitary pursuit, yet the true strength of our field lies in collaboration, shared wisdom, and mutual growth. AIIEC was established to transform this vision into reality to serve as a dynamic platform for consultants to connect, collaborate & continuously evolve through professional development and best-practice exchange.
Our mission extends beyond professional solidarity. It is about empowering every consultant to elevate the quality of guidance we deliver to students, ensuring that each young mind we serve receives the most informed, ethical, and forward-looking educational counsel possible.
Through AIIEC, we aim to shape the future of independent education consulting in India one that is inclusive, progressive & anchored in excellence.

President-Elect Message
When the idea of an association of independent counsellors was mooted, I was delighted. From the initial years that were really solitary, with answers to our questions coming from college visits, personal experience and online sources, belonging to a body of professionals from the same industry was really compelling. It has been an amazing journey, building this association, from nine of us in the first meeting to over seventy-five members now. Our ethos is to work with integrity, stay student-focused and collaborate and grow together, exchanging knowledge and best practices. Given the focus on higher education and interest in education options globally, AIIEC is an idea whose time has come. We are poised to grow, and as we do, we make a difference to the families that we serve, one student at a time.
